The way I learned to crochet : a long time ago in Eastern Europe ... my two aunts would sit at the kitchen table, gossip, drink Turkish coffee and crochet. They had one crochet diagram between them and were making a table cloth each. I looked at them and the diagram. That's how I learned. Not that I wanted to make table cloths (never have) but when you know how to decipher a crochet diagram, you can figure things out without a written pattern. Ps - your advice is great. how do we continue increasing it to fit for a larger size? i understand increasing the rows but there seems to be a pattern of rows with increases and rows without. really wonder how this would work on bigger busts too cause its gorgeous!

Here's a few tips that work for me: use a smaller hook & slightly over-stuff (it'll flatten over time). Great job!

I use the opposite end of a smaller hook, or my tapestry needle, or a small knitting needle, insert it under the top of the stitches (where we normally work into) and pull just the top of the loops up then unzip the rest of the yarn after I've undone about an inch or three of top loops... I'm crocheting with mohair right now 🤪

Honestly I just cry when that happens (I am the biggest cry baby you will ever meet)

If you have yarn like this I have some advice: Seam. Ripper. That little point lets you get right in there and only cut the fibers that are doing the binding, and if you get startled you don't risk major injury like with a razor blade. Also, you can take a seam ripper through TSA. I have a foot of loose starter chain because the fibers binding together were stronger than the yarn! That same project I figured out the seam ripper trick and it has made my life with those yarns SO much better.

Hi!! I just finished making this with my 2 skein of scrap yarn. I think the bottom 3 picot detail is so cute! it looks like a ruffle on the bottom. Though I only did less than 11inches still turned out cute like a mini skirt. Thank you for this. I love your patterns <3
